Meet the Dental Team Heber City
Kindness & Skill Everywhere You Look
Carolina – Front Desk
Carolina was born in Mexico before moving to Heber City when she was six years old. As one of our newest members, she loves being able to learn new things every day while working alongside an amazing dental team. The best part for her is simply getting to know more about the world of dentistry.
At home, Carolina is a mother of three wonderful little boys. During summer, they enjoy going on camping trips and crawfishing, while winters are spent watching the snowfall as they sip hot chocolate most of the day. In her spare time, she likes to read, hike, and go out dancing whenever she gets the chance!
Taylor – Dental Hygienist
Taylor is originally from Kentucky! When it came time for her studies, she chose to attend Bellarmine University and Salt Lake Community College. Now, she has her Local Anesthetic Licensure, and she’s also completed continuing education courses on periodontology. For her, the best thing about being a dental hygienist is having the opportunity to spend time with patients, get to know them personally, and help them feel empowered and safe in the treatment chair.
Taylor made the move to Utah with her husband in 2015. When she isn’t at our office or spending time with family, she enjoys practicing yoga, running on trails, and reading. Here’s a fun fact about her: she has her paragliding license!
Katelyn – Dental Hygienist
Originally from Denver, Katelyn has been in the world of dentistry for a few years and counting. The best part of her job is being able to connect with and learn about patients while helping them reach their smile goals. She studied at Utah Valley University to obtain her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, and she’s also a registered dental hygienist. She previously worked as a dental assistant in pediatric dentistry for 2 years before doing what she does now.
Outside of the dental office, Katelyn enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Other than treating pearly whites, she also loves being outdoors and doing things like camping, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding. She enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people, and attending live music and concerts. One of her bucket list items is to visit all the national parks!
Jessica – Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Spanish Fork, Jessica worked as an orthodontic assistant for four years and studied at Utah College of Dental Hygiene before becoming part of our team as a dental hygienist. She truly loves all of her patients and always strives to provide them with the highest quality of care. On top of cleaning their pearly whites, she also enjoys building a strong relationship with them so that they feel comfortable and confident about their visits.
Outside of the dental office, Jessica is happily married to her amazing husband, and they enjoy spending time together along with their two dogs. They also enjoy doing anything outdoors, especially fishing on their boat during the weekends as well as duck hunting in the winter. Fun fact: she and her husband own a taxidermy business and even enter their work into competitions!
Maya – Dental Assistant
Hailing from Grass Valley in California, Maya attended UVU, which is where she earned her Dental Assistant Certification. She is also certified in radiology. She enjoys getting the chance to know our patients better, and she loves being able to see what their smiles look like before and after their treatments.
Maya’s family includes her parents and her three brothers. Outside of the office, she can often be found swimming, off-roading, surfing, and traveling. One interesting fact about her is that she drives a manual car.
Mekenzie – Receptionist
Mekenzie is our front desk receptionist dedicated to making visiting the dentist as easy as possible. She is a graduate of Utah Valley University, and one of her favorite parts of her job is being able to meet new people every day and learn all about the world of dentistry.
Originally from Aurora, Utah, Mekenzie’s parents and three siblings all live in either Utah or Idaho. In her free time, you can catch her snowboarding, painting, boating, and reading or writing. One interesting fact about her is that she loves the rain.
Erika – Dental Assistant
Erika is our knowledgeable, X-ray certified dental assistant. One of her favorite parts of her job is seeing her Hispanic patients’ faces light up when they realize she speaks Spanish.
Erika is from Heber City and is the oldest of the three children in her family. In her free time, she loves snowboarding, going to the gym, and getting new tattoos. One interesting fact about her is that she’s an amazing singer.
